In 2019, reports covered that she would appear in an original Netflix series that would be released the following year. Later she revealed that she made it as a cast on a new BET Telenovela alongside actress Rami Chuene.

Netflix’s series, Blood and Water has a female-led cast featuring some of Mzansi freshest faces such as Natasha Thahane, Cindy Mahlangu, Ama Qamata, Khosi Ngema, and Gail Mabalane. Blood & Water is directed by Nosipho Dumisa who directed film Nommer 37.
The series takes viewers on a journey of mystery as it tells the tale of Puleng Khumalo. A 16-year-old gets herself transferred to the same high school as a girl whom she suspects is her sister, who was kidnapped at birth 17 years earlier.
Although, tweeps were not impressed because the series is all about teenagers, but the female cast does not have any teenagers in it. Critics believe that she is too old for the role as she is 24 years old.
Natasha is not bothered at all by all the hate that is going around and she simply respond to the critics with a meme of a child pulling faces. Even Rami Chuene came to her defence.

The rising star actress was dragged for ‘recording and driving’ at the same time. She shared a video containing her listening to Bo Maq’s FOMO.
She left the steering wheel for a short time as she recorded the video, she looked at the camera shifting her view off the road. Fans did not agree with her on that as they called her out saying she should follow the rules of the road.
